1space IT system wins staff vote
Results from an IT survey completed by JLP staff highlights the success of using 1space, our document management system launched last year.
The study compiled by the University of Gloucestershire, revealed that the majority of JLP staff who participated are very happy with 1space and other IT resources available to them. They find that it has improved efficiency in their roles. This result highlights the importance of using an integrated IT solution such as 1space in the construction industry and affirms our decision to launch 1space at JLP.
28 construction industry companies took part in the study and 1700 individuals participates in the staff survey element. This consisted of an interview with the IT Manager to gain an understanding of the IT and communications systems available. An online survey with staff gauged how they used the systems and what they thought of the resources available.
The study was conducted in conjunction with Union Square http://www.unionsquaresoftware.com/, providers of Workspace, our document management system which JLP rebranded as '1space'.
